How I Am Going To Use This Framework To Achieve My Best Year Ever in 2025
Because I'm tired of setting New Year’s resolutions that never stick...
This is the last post of 2024.
As 2024 comes to an end, I’m reminded that progress isn’t about perfection.
It’s about showing up, learning, and taking small, consistent steps forward.
This year has been full of lessons and growth, and now it’s time to embrace the fresh start 2025 offers.
Let’s dream big, stay focused, and commit to making this our best year yet.
As 2025 inches closer, I’ve been reflecting on what I want it to look like both personally and professionally.
I don’t just want this to be another year of setting vague goals and letting them fizzle out by February.
This time, I’m determined to make 2025 my best year yet.
And how do I plan to do that?
By embracing a simple to follow yet powerful system.
This framework is about focus, alignment, and creating momentum through actionable habits.
Let me walk you through how I’m structuring my year using this framework and how it’s already giving me clarity and excitement about what’s to come.
Planning for 2025: Setting the Foundation
I’ve learned the hard way that success doesn’t happen by accident—it requires intentional planning and execution.
This year, I’m taking the time to reflect, prioritize, and map out a clear vision for 2025.
Here’s my step-by-step process:
Reflect on 2024: I’ve spent some time journaling about what worked, what didn’t, and what I want to do differently. This honest self-assessment has given me insights into where I need to focus my energy.
Identify priorities: For me, it’s clear—2025 is about growth in four areas: my business, my habits, my community, and my personal development.
Set SMART goals: Specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound—this framework ensures my goals aren’t just dreams; they’re plans.
Break it down: Big goals are overwhelming, so I’m breaking them into smaller, actionable steps that I can tackle daily, weekly, or monthly.
Create a timeline: With each step, I’m assigning deadlines so I stay on track.
Track and review progress: I’ve scheduled weekly and monthly reviews to reflect on what’s working and where I need to pivot.
This foundation ensures I’m starting 2025 with clarity and purpose instead of winging it like I might have done in the past.
The 4-3-2-1 Framework
Instead of drowning myself in a dozen resolutions, I’m keeping it simple and structured.
This framework narrows my focus while giving me room to build habits and momentum.
4 Major Focus Areas
For 2025, I’m concentrating on four main areas that will move the needle in both my personal and professional life:
Refining my offers: My business needs to evolve, so I’ll focus on improving my core products and cutting out what no longer serves my audience.
Streamlining with automation: My goal is to automate 80% of my workflow, freeing up time for creativity and strategic growth.
Engaging my subscribers: On Substack, I’ll prioritize delivering consistent value, introducing a new accelerator program to help writers grow, and scaling my audience.
Building a global solopreneur community: I’ve been focused on Singapore, but in 2025, I’ll open the doors to solopreneurs worldwide. Community is powerful, and I want to create a space where others thrive.
These four focus areas give me a sense of direction and clarity.
Each one ties back to my long-term vision and ensures I’m spending my time where it matters most.
3 Core Habits
Habits are the backbone of success.
Instead of juggling too many at once, I’m focusing on three impactful habits each quarter.
For 2025, these are my core habits:
Daily content creation: Whether it’s writing, brainstorming, or editing, I’ll dedicate time each morning to content.
Weekly metrics review: Every Sunday, I’ll evaluate personal and business metrics to stay on track and adjust my goals if needed.
Monthly deep-dives: On the last Sunday of each month, I’ll analyze what’s working, what’s not, and where I need to pivot.
These habits directly support my four focus areas.
By keeping them consistent for three months, they’ll become second nature.
2 Accountability Partners
Accountability has been a game-changer for me.
I’ve realized I work better when I have people to share my wins, challenges, and goals with.
This year, I’m choosing two accountability partners:
A Success Partner: Someone who’s at a similar stage in their journey and pursuing similar goals. We’ll motivate and support each other as we tackle our plans.
A Mentor Figure: Someone who’s already achieved what I’m aiming for and can offer guidance, feedback, and encouragement.
These two people will keep me grounded and focused throughout the year.
1 Non-Negotiable Daily Practice
If I could only stick to one habit all year, it would be this>
Writing for 30 minutes every morning.
Why?
Because writing fuels so many areas of my life—content creation, self-reflection, communication, and clarity.
By protecting this daily practice, I’m laying the foundation for everything else.
No matter how hectic life gets, I’m committing to showing up for those 30 minutes every single day.
Staying Flexible and Realistic
One thing I’ve learned is that life doesn’t always go according to plan.
While I’m optimistic about 2025, I know I’ll face unexpected challenges along the way. That’s why flexibility is key.
If a strategy isn’t working, I’ll pivot.
If circumstances change, I’ll adapt.
And when things get overwhelming, I’ll remind myself that progress, not perfection, is the goal.
Why 2025 Will Be Different
What makes 2025 different?
It’s not just the framework or the goals, it’s my mindset. Because EVERY YEAR IS DIFFERENT.
I’m no longer trying to do everything at once or chasing unrealistic expectations. Instead, I’m focusing on what truly matters, taking small, consistent steps, and celebrating every win along the way.
I truly want to create a life I’m proud of, one that’s aligned with my values, passions, and vision.

The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own.
You do not blame them on your mother, the ecology, or the president.
You realize that you control your own destiny.
