The One Inbox for All Ideas was especially relevant. I certainly do end up with partially completed ideas scattered across multiple tools and apps. It's been a headache finding some of them.
So I customised your fix. Since I'm in Gmail everyday I created a new Label...
#1 All Ideas
I name it that way so it appears at the very top of my many Gmail Labels.
The intention is when I begin a new idea (usually in GPT or Gemini) I send an email to myself, and save it to #1 All Ideas with the keywords of the idea in the subject line. I could even set up sub-folders in the Label per idea. That way I can add updates.
I know I could do the same in GDocs etc but it's just another app I need to open and search through docs and folders etc. I expect the Gmail Labels plan will work just fine for me.
great tips!! thanks for this post. it is exactly what i needed today
